Cynthia N. - Please pray for Cynthia's daughter, Carey, who is going through a divorce. Pray for her soon to be ex, Jack, & their children.

Cynthia N. - Please pray for Merl & Cynthia's business - they currently have none. Pray for a project for them!!! Also, wisdom in leasing their land.

Kim - Please pray for me that I would reflect Christ the way He would want me to through my actions, words & deeds.

Lisa - Millie's (our owner) daughter, Leah, (our receptionist) is very sick and in intensive care in the hospital. She was due to have her baby last week, but fell ill about 12 days ago. They thought is was a sinus infection. It turned into a serious case of pneumonia, along with some kind of infection. She was getting worse by the day. They took the baby on Sunday, she is doing fine and now at home with her father.

Today, Leah's lungs were full, her heart is failing, her kidneys shut down and her liver is not good. She is on a ventilator. They put her on several strong antibiotics because they still don't know what they are treating. They put her through dialysis hoping to remove all of the fluid that is building up.

She is clinging to life.

I am asking everyone for prayer. She needs a miracle.

Thank you,
Lisa

3. Jesus Christ was FULLY GOD & FULLY MAN when he was here on earth.
4. Jesus Christ was bodily resurrected from the dead.

Rib Issues
1. Spiritual gifts
2. View of end times - eschatology
3. View on spiritual warfare
4. Pre-destination - Armenian, Calvinist
5. Church involvement

There are herectics and herectical teachings - check the scripture - What does God's word say.

We are called to LOVE one another

We should be women of GOD - go where we are called. Have courage enough to go with GOD.

Our testimony "hinges" on LOVE

We are siblings in the body of Chirst - strive to become like Jesus Christ.

I Cor 12:21 We need each other

Remember Rev. 12:12 - The devil is furious become his time is short!

A divided house falls.

Ask God for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.

We need a fresh inhale & exhale of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The body of Christ would most please him - that they would be one!

Session 3 - Praise & Prayer requests

Deut 10:34 - He's for us not against us!

Session 3

Psalms 40:1-8
Three ways to get find yourself in a pit:
A. Get thrown into a pit
B. We can slip into a pit
C. We can jump right into a pit

Get thrown into a pit - Gen. 37:4 - Joseph he was thrown into a pit not of his own doing.
Jeremiah 35:6 - Jeremiah was thrown in even after he obeyed God.
Psalms 40:11,12

We can slip into a pit - it's not what we planned but we find ourselves in one nevertheless. Gen. 50:20 - . . he meant it for evil but God meant it for good.

A pit is an early grave the enemy digs for us. Your enemy, Satan, wants to bury you alive.

We can jump into a pit. Psalms 19:12,13 - Who can discern their own junk? We need to pursue full throttle Godliness. Blamelessness - freedom from willful sin. A place where no area of sin is ruling over us.

God's word is true - our experience is not the plumbline. God's word is the plumbline!

Difference between reacting badly vs. proactive sin. Reacting badly you don't plan on sinning you react out of the sinful nature response. Proactive sin - you plan the thing out.

2 things all the pits have in common:
1. We can't get ourselves out of the pit
2. We can get out of it!

The ways we can get out of a pit:
1. A person can pull us out of it - caution the person who pulls us out can become in a person's mind their Savior. There's only one Savior! Ps. 40:2-4
2. God can pull us out of it!

A result of trusting in the Lord - Happiness! Ps. 40:2-4

SESSION 2 - PRAISE & PRAYER

SESSION 2

Deuteronomy 1:30-32
The Lord your God who goes before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Eygpt befoe your eyes; and in the wilderness, where thou has seen how the the LORD they God bare thee, as a man doeth bear his son, Yet, in this thing, you did not believe the LORD your God.

Psalm 62:1,2,5-7
My soul finds rest in God alone, my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

Psalm 41:9
Even my cose friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

Psalm 55:-8, 12-14
My heart is in anguish within me, the terrors of death assail me. Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me. I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a doe? I would fly away and be at rest." I would flee far away and stay in the desert; I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm. If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were raising himself against me, I could hide from him, But, it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoed sweet fellowship as we walked with the throng at the house of God.

Prov. 27:6
Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

There is no place we have been more deeply hurt than the root of our distrust.

Distrust manifests itself in two primary was:
A persistenly ailing heart
A spewing mind

True or False
Deep down inside I don't trust anybody.
I tend to trust anybody.
There's only one person on this earth I really trust.
I don't trust God.
I only trust God.
I trust God in most things.

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfst, because he trusts in you.

Session 1 - Praise/Prayer

Deut. 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He WILL NOT leave you nor forsake you!

Session 1

Who Will You Trust/Part One

Isaiah 26:3-4
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.

Deuteronomy 1:28-31 Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, "The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there." Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes and in the desert. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place."

Deuteronomy 1:32 Yet in THIS THING you do not believe the LORD your God.

New Testament faith - we do with our mind.
Old Testament faith - engages the heart

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

DISTRUST manifests itself in two primary ways:
1. A persistently ailing heart
2. A spewing mind

Psalm 112: 1, 7-8 Praise the Lord. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is secure, he will have no fear, in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.

Psalm 115:9-11 O house of Israel, trust in the Lord - he is their help and shield. O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord - he is their help and shield. You who fear him, trust in the Lord, he is their help and shield.

Ephesians 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which YOU CAN extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
